Tendulkar, Sehwag and Kohli in Michael Hussey's Best Rivals XI

Sydney, Dt

Michael Hussey, a former Australian batsman and known as Mr Cricket, has included India's legendary superstars Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag as well as current captain Virat Kohli in his best rival XI. Hussey chose the Best Rivals XI from the players he played in Test matches against in his career.

Michael Hussey, 3, played international cricket for Australia from 2006 to 2013. The best team he selected included former South African captain Graeme Smith, West Indies batsman Brian Lara and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, as well as veteran South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis. South Africa's Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, English fast bowler James Anderson and spin legend Muralitharan were selected as bowlers.

"The decision to keep a stalwart like Dhoni away from my team has been extremely difficult for me," said Michael Hussey. However, I had to announce the team for the Test, in which Sangakkara's record is better than Dhoni's.

Hussey added that in practice, McGrath, Brett Lee and Shane Warne have been able to cope with any attack in the world if they come out unscathed in the nets.
