Kumble as captain in Gambhir's all-time Test XI: Dhoni-Kohli included

Former India captain Gautam Gambhir has handed over the captaincy of his all-time Indian XI to former spinner Anil Kumble. Former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and current captain Virat Kohli were named in Gambhir's Test XI. Gambhir has previously praised Kumble. "Anil Kumble is the captain of my choice from the captains I have played in my career," he said.

"I have never been worried about my place in Kumble's captaincy," Gambhir added. He allowed me to play Muktam. Gambhir picked the players who played with him most of the time in his all-time Test XI. Legendary Indian cricket superstars Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev have also found a place in Gambhir's Test XI. While Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath were selected as the fast bowlers.

He chose Rahul Dravid as the third and Sachin Tendulkar as the fourth batsman. Dhoni was selected for the responsibility of wicketkeeper. While the current captain and stalwart batsman Kohli was selected to bat in the fifth position. Harbhajan Singh was included in the squad as Captain Kumble's spin partner.

Gambhir's all-time Test XI: Gavaskar, Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Kohli, Kapil Dev, Dhoni (VK), Harbhajan, Anil Kumble (captain), Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath.
