Batsman Ross Taylor was presented with the highest honor at New Zealand's annual awards ceremony. Headley was declared the winner of the Sir Richard Headley Medal. Corona caused the New Zealand Cricket Board's annual awards ceremony to be held virtually on-line.
Ross Taylor shared a picture with her family on social media. Taylor was instrumental in helping New Zealand reach the final of the ICC World Cup in July last year. New Zealand reached the final of this second consecutive World Cup and eventually became runners-up. He has scored the most Test runs for New Zealand in the last 12 months. He also became the first player to play 100 or more international matches in all formats.
"I hope to play in the 205 World Cup," Taylor said. Even though we have lost in the last two World Cup finals, we will win next time. I hope that even at the age of 2-3, I will be able to retain my place in the New Zealand team. Taylor made his international debut in 2009. While he has played 101 Tests, 3 ODIs and 100 T20s.
