The FIFA Under-19 Women's World Cup to be held on Indian soil this year will now be played next year. FIFA decided to postpone the World Cup following the Covid-12 epidemic. FIFA has announced new dates for the tournament, which will now take place from February 14 to March 5 next year. Notably, some matches of the Under-19 Women's Football World Cup are also to be played in Ahmedabad.
According to the previous schedule, the Under-19 Women's Football World Cup was to be played in India from November 9 to November 21. However, it was postponed due to the Kovid-12 epidemic. "Despite changes to the schedule for the Women's Football World Cup Under-19, we have not changed the qualifications of the players participating in it," FIFA said. Only players born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2008 will be able to participate in this World Cup.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati and Bhubaneswar have also been selected to host the tournament. 16 women's teams from around the world will come to India to participate in the Under-19 World Cup.
