New Delhi, Dt

The BCCI is rumored to be considering playing in the IPL tournament, which has been postponed indefinitely due to the Kovid-12 epidemic. Now, a media report claims that the BCCI is considering hosting its high-profile tournament. In the initial phase, they are expressing the possibility of organizing a high-profile tournament from September 6 to November 8. This event will only be possible if the T20 World Cup in Australia is canceled.

According to media reports, Indian Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly has sent a letter to state associations clarifying his intention to organize the IPL. The Indian Cricket Board is still awaiting a decision on the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. If the T20 World Cup in Australia is canceled, India is likely to host the IPL in that period.

If the ICC and the Australian board show the green light for the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket board will have to look for new dates for the IPL. According to media reports, the BCCI has discussed the matter with franchisees, media partners and other stakeholders. The ICC will decide on the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia in July.
