The Pakistan team will leave for England on Sunday after leaving 10 cricketers who fell ill due to the Corona epidemic. The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the players will be sent to England only if the situation improves and two consecutive Tests come negative.
Wasim Khan, chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board, said players who have tested positive for corona will be able to join the team only if their next two tests are negative. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) re-tested 10 players with corona transition, six of whom tested negative.
This week, players like Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Haider Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Wahab Riaz, Imran Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnan and Kashif Bhatti tested positive for corona. The follow-up tests of Haider Ali, Harris Rauf, Kashif Bhatti and Imran Khan were also negative.
Pakistan will play three Tests and three T20Is in the tour of England. After reaching England, Pakistan team will be in isolation for 15 days. Pakistan will then play two four-day practice matches before the first Test. The first Test is scheduled for August. However, its date has not been announced yet.
