Broadcast the Indian team selection committee meeting live on TV

Mumbai, Dt

Former Bengal captain and Team India cricketer Manoj Tiwary has said that the meeting of the Indian team selection committee should be telecast live. So that reality may come before the people. It is only natural that cricket critics and fans should welcome Tiwary as he has been heard announcing surprising decisions from closed-door selection committee meetings in the past.

During an Instagram chat with a news channel, Tiwari said, "If the team selection is aired, everyone will know which selector favored which player based on which record." If so, we can evaluate whether the choice is the right one. It usually happens that when a player asks the selectors about his omission, they blame each other. If the meeting is broadcast live, everything will be clear.

The 8-year-old Tiwari added that the IPL has benefited foreigners more than it has benefited Indians. In my opinion Indian batsmen should play in the top order. Mostly foreign players come in the top order and they become experts in playing against spinners on our pitches. Often these same players outnumber India in ICC tournaments. Who previously could not play well against spinners.
