Corona has postponed the T20 World Cup in Australia this year

Finally, the T20 World Cup to be held in October-November this year has been postponed. The decision was taken at a meeting of the ICC board convened by teleconferencing on Monday. Due to Corona, there were doubts whether the tournament would be held in Australia in October-November. Cricket Australia also expressed concern over the hosting of the T20 World Cup.

Earlier, Australia's Sports Minister Richard Colebeck said his country could meet the challenge of hosting teams for the T20 World Cup but the key issue was whether the tournament would be held in an empty stadium without spectators.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in October-November 2021 and the final will be held on November 14, 2021, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in October-November 2022 and the final will be held on November 13, 2022 as per the window set by the ICC for the next three Men's World Events. And the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2023 will be held in October-November 2023 and the final will be held on November 26, 2023.
