The first Test between the West Indies and England reached a turning point at the end of the fourth day. England had a total lead of 140 against the West Indies, but now have only two wickets safe. Due to which the confrontation is becoming equal. Earlier, Windies had scored 214 runs against England's score of 202. Due to which they got a lead of 114 runs.
England, without a spectator in a closed stadium between Corona, scored eight for eight in their second innings at the end of the fourth day's play. At the end of the game, Archer had five runs and Wood had one. From the West Indies, Gabriel was quick for three and Chess-Joseph was quick for 2-2.
Earlier, Brathwaite scored 4, Doverich 31 and Chase 2 from West Indies. From England, Stokes picked up four wickets and Andersen three, ending the West Indies' first innings at 219 in 104 overs.
From England, Crowley scored 4 off 12 balls with 4 fours, while Sibley scored 20 (12 balls, 3 fours), Stokes scored 4 and Burns scored 2. Gabriel was three wickets quick at 3 runs. While Chase was 41 and Joseph was 50, taking 2-2 wickets fast. England's score at one stage was 2/3 wickets. However, after that England lost five wickets in just 4 runs.
