England went on to win the series by winning the third and final Test of the series against the West Indies at the end of the third day. The touring West Indies were bowled out for 17 against England's 3. England declared their second innings at 2 for 2 with a huge target of 7 to win the Windies. In reply, they scored 10 for two in the second innings.
The West Indies are 3 runs behind their winning target and have only 4 wickets safe. As both the teams are tied 1-1 in the series, the team that wins this Test will win the series in its own name.
On the third day of the third and final Test of the series in a bio-secure environment in Manchester, the Windies led their first innings by 19 for six. However, they did not last long and were bowled out for 18 in 4 overs. Stuart Broad was quick for six for 21. Holder scored 3 runs from West Indies.
England took a 15-run lead in the first innings. After which England batted again and declared the innings at 2 for 2 in 4 overs. Burns scored 50 runs. While Rutt was not out for 3 runs. England declared the innings with Sibley being dismissed for 4.
Broad was hit by the Windies who went down to chase a huge target and the wickets of Campbell (0) and Nightwatchman Roach (2) were quick. At the end of the game, Brathwaite was at the crease with two and Shy Hope was at the crease.
