IPL 2020 is unlikely to be held in India this year and now the matter has been indirectly acknowledged by Indian Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly. "I think the next three to four months will be very challenging," Ganguly said. We must face it. I think, by the end of this year or early next year, public life will be back to normal.
Ganguly made the remarks in a conversation with Indian Test opener Mayank Agarwal. The Indian Cricket Board is looking for a window for the IPL in late September or early November.
In a conversation on social media, Ganguly added, "I believe in waiting for the corona vaccine to arrive." Until then we need to be careful. We know what's going on. We don’t get sick. If the corona vaccine is given, we can deal with it like any other disease. Hopefully by the end of this year everything will fall apart.
