Russian-born OC Olympic ice skater dies in Moscow

Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya, a 60-year-old Russian-born Australian Olympian ice skater, died in Moscow under suspicious circumstances. According to some media reports, Alexandrovskaya died after falling from a sixth-floor window. However, Moscow has not yet announced the official cause of his death, which has raised suspicions about the circumstances of his death.

Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya was born in Russia, but left her homeland in 2014 and became an Australian citizen in 2013. He then competed with Harley Windsor at the 2012 Winter Olympics in the figure skating parce event at the Winter Olympics. The pair also won the World Junior title in 2015.

It was only in February that Alexandrovskaya announced his retirement from ice skating. It turned out to be a serious injury. According to Russian media, he wrote a word before the incident, which means 'I love'. Due to which, at the present stage, his death is being considered as suicide. He was also under the influence of depression, his coach Khekalo said.
