Despite James Andersen crossing the 200-wicket milestone of his career, Pakistan drew their third and final Test against England with the help of rain. However, England won the three-Test series 1-0. Anderson became the first fast bowler in the world to take 200 Test wickets. England declared the first innings at 4 for 6. Against which Pakistan was all out in the 8th innings. He batted for the second time as England followed him, and by the end of the fifth day's play amid rain, he had scored 16 for four.
In the fifth day's play in Southampton amid rain, Andersen took 300 wickets before dismissing Azhar Ali. England will not play a single Test match this year. If Anderson hadn't picked up the wicket, he would have had to wait a year to catch the milestone.
