Australia-England players exempted from quarantine in IPL

Players from England and Australia will not have to be in quarantine in the IPL to be held in the UAE. This exemption is given under the standard operative procedure prepared by the Cricket Board of India. However he will have to comply with the prescribed criteria for this. The 40 members of the Bangalore team will leave for the UAE tomorrow. Players from Mumbai and Chennai will also leave for the UAE tomorrow.

The BCCI has allowed franchisees to make some changes to the rules. If they break it, the guilty player will have to be quarantined and corona tested. Players from England and Australia will play a limited overs series before joining the IPL. For which they may have entered the biobubble after going through a certain process, which means they do not need to be quarantined in the UAE again. However, before joining the IPL, he will have to undergo a Corona test, which will come out negative. Apart from this, he has to follow some rules, said the chairman of the Bangalore team.

Players from Australia and England will arrive in the UAE on September 15. The IPL will start two days later. The South African players are expected to arrive in the UAE on September 9. The Sri Lankan players are expected to join the teams in early September.
