Chennai IPL camp starts from today: Arrival of Dhoni and Raina

Veteran cricketer of the Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's corona test came negative and he has now arrived in Chennai to participate in the team's six-day camp. Along with Dhoni, his close ally Avo Raina as well as other players from Chennai have also reached the IPL camp before leaving for the UAE.

The Chennai Super Kings have organized the six-day camp at Dhoni's insistence and all the players will join the camp only after corona testing. The closed-door camp will discuss the strategy for the upcoming IPL as well as other issues. Meanwhile, sources in the Chennai team said that Ravindra Jadeja will not be joining the pre-IPL camp. He will not be attending the camp due to personal commitments but will be joining the team in the UAE.

Most of the stars have reached out to join the camp to be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium. In view of the current situation, the Chennai management has invited only counting players and experts to join the camp. All the rules including social distance are being strictly enforced especially due to the presence of the top stars of the team. The camp, which is being held with the approval of the government, is run by former Indian Faster L. Balaji.

Regular Chennai coach Fleming and assistant coach Hussey Coro are unlikely to come to India due to the epidemic. However he will join the team in the UAE.

Australia-England players will join the IPL from September 4

Players from England and Australia will not be able to take part in the IPL tournament in the UAE for a week. Six matches of white ball cricket will be played between the teams of England and Australia from September 9 to 16. The matches will be held in Southampton and Manchester. The two nations will play three Twenty20 matches in Southampton on September 4, 5 and 6. While three ODIs will be played on September 11, 12 and 13. Shortly after the completion of the international commitment, the players will arrive in the UAE on September 14 and according to the IPL rules, all players will have to remain in quarantine for six days. After this, on the seventh day, they will be able to enter the bio-secure environment. He will also have three tests in the meantime.
