Player of the Match Eno Morgan's 5-ball innings and 118-ball partnership between him and Malan (8 *) helped England win the second T20I match against Pakistan. England won by five wickets with five balls to spare. Malan was not out for 4 off 7 balls. While opener Bairstow hit 4 runs in 4 balls.
The first T20 of the series was washed away in the rain. England then won the toss and elected to field. From Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez hit 4 off 4 balls. Which included four sixes and five fours. Accompanying him, Babur scored 4 runs in 4 balls with 3 fours. Rashid was quick for two wickets for 4 runs in 4 overs. England took a 1-0 lead in the series. Now the third and final T20 of the series will be played on September 1.
In reply, Benton and Bairstow gave England an explosive start with a 4-run partnership off 4 balls. After which Morgan and Malan put the team on the verge of victory. The match was thrilling as Pakistan picked up three wickets in 19 overs. However one end saver Malane Gregory teamed up to win the team. Shadab Khan was three wickets quick.
