Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni will no longer be seen playing for the Indian cricket team.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket by posting on Instagram. "Thank you so much for your love and support," he wrote in his post. I am supposed to retire from 7.29pm this evening. He also shared a video with this post.
Dhoni has already retired from Test cricket
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has already announced his retirement from Test cricket. However, he was part of the Indian team in ODIs and T20s. But now has announced his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni has captained the Indian team in all three formats.
Career start
MS Dhoni made his cricketing debut in 2004 against Bangladesh. Dhoni has played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20I matches so far. Dhoni has scored 6 centuries in Tests and 10 centuries in ODIs. Apart from this, he has also made a different impression among the fans due to his helicopter shots.
