The 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to begin on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The franchise teams and fans have been waiting for the IPL schedule for a long time. The wait is finally over. The new schedule of IPL 2020 has been announced. The first match will be between defending champions Mumbai Indians and runners-up Chennai Super Kings. 24 matches of IPL 2020 will be played in Dubai, 20 matches in Abu Dhabi and 12 matches in Sharjah.

Earlier, the IPL was scheduled to be held in India from March 29. A schedule for this was also released. IPL had to be postponed due to Kovid-19.
