The match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020 is being played today. Punjab batsman Mayank Agarwal has scored his second century of IPL 2020. This is Mayank's first century in the IPL. Earlier, Mayank's highest score was 89. Which he did against Delhi this year.
Mayank completed his century in just 45 balls. Mayank hit 9 fours and 7 sixes in his century. Its strike rate, meanwhile, stood at 222.22. At the same time, Mayank has become the second fastest Indian to score a century in the IPL.
Yusuf Pathan holds the record for the fastest century in the IPL. Pathan scored a century off just 37 balls in IPL 2010. Mayank is now second on the list. Murali Vijay now ranks third on the list. Vijay scored a century off 46 balls in IPL 2010 alone.
Mayank scored 106 off 50 balls. This is the second century in IPL 2020. Interestingly, both the centuries of this season have been scored by the batsmen of Kings XI Punjab. Earlier, Punjab captain KS Rahul scored his first century of the season. Rahul played an unbeaten 132 against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the highest score by an Indian in the IPL.
