The 11th match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 15 runs due to the superb performance of the bowlers. This is Sunrisers Hyderabad's first win after two consecutive defeats this season, while Delhi Capitals' first defeat after two consecutive defeats.

Rashid Khan was the hero of Sunrisers Hyderabad's victory and was declared Man of the Match. He bowled Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Aiyar and Rishabh Pant for just 14 runs in 4 overs. From Sunrisers Hyderabad, Johnny Bairstow contributed 53, David Warner 45 and Kane Williams 41.

Chasing 162, Delhi had a bad start. Prithvi Shaw was out for just two runs. After that, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Aiyar took the wickets. Shikhar Dhawan scored 34 and Shreyas Aiyar 17 runs. While Rishabh Pant contributed 28 runs. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets from Hyderabad. Delhi could only manage 147 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Aiyar decided to bowl after winning the toss against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi. Delhi made 1 change in their squad. Veteran Ishant Sharma replaced Avesh Khan in the team. Ishant has not played in previous matches due to injury. While Hyderabad has made 2 changes in their team. Mohammed Nabi and Riddhiman Saha were replaced by Ken Williamson and Abdul Samad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 162 for 4 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals at Abu Dhabi. For them, David Warner (45) and Johnny Bairstow (53) gave the team a great start by scoring 77 for the first wicket. Apart from him, Kane Williams contributed 41 off 26 balls. For Delhi, Amit Mishra and Kagiso Rabada took 2-2 wickets.
