However, former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar does not agree that players should take a break from international matches by complaining about the workload. Many times he has openly said that if you really want to manage the workload then don't play in the IPL. Relax but don't excuse yourself from national duty. In this way, Sunil Gavaskar started a discussion about resting fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the Ranchi Test against England by Rohit Sharma and Co. Gavaskar gave a statement about Rohit Sharma's bold decision Gavaskar also opened up about India's decision not to use Bumrah in the deciding match of the Test series against England. IPL thrills: Stakes to reach the top 4, find out who's ahead in the Purple-Orange Cap race!

Mumbai, Ta. Saturday, October 17, 2020

Given the way matches are being played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 cricket tournament, there is going to be a lot of competition for the top four teams. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals currently have 12-12 points, but Mumbai are ahead due to better net run rate.

While the Delhi team is in second place. Royal Challengers Bangalore are third with 10 points while Kolkata Knight Riders are fourth with eight points despite losing to Mumbai on Friday.

However, the real competition will take place this Saturday-Sunday. Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are playing with 6-6 points. The Hyderabad team will play against Kolkata on Sunday while the Chennai team will play against Delhi on Saturday evening.

The Rajasthan Royals team is also scheduled to play against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday. Now, if there is an upset in one of these three matches, there is a possibility of a big change in the points table.

If these three teams win their matches, they will all come to eight points. Now the one with a better net run rate will move on.

Speaking of Orange and Purple Cap, Lokesh Rahul is the leading batsman with 448 runs while his teammate Mayank Agarwal is second with 382 runs. Now, if Mayank plays a good innings, he can keep Rahul behind. However, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli are not far behind.

In bowling, on the other hand, Kagiso Rabada is far ahead of the others with 18 wickets, but Joffra Archer, Jaspreet Bumrah, Trent Bolt and Mohammad Shami are running fast behind the Delhi bowler.

All these bowlers have taken 12-12 wickets. Even in a match, if one of these bowlers achieves four wickets or takes five wickets, it may be difficult for Rabada.
