Mumbai have won the qualifier-1 of the 13th season of IPL. Mumbai beat Delhi by 57 runs on Thursday. Chasing a target of 201, Delhi could only manage 143/8 in 20 overs. With this, Mumbai has taken a step towards the 5th title. While Delhi has a chance to reach the final by winning the qualifier-2 on November 8. Where he will face the winning team in Eliminator SRH vs RCB.
Chasing 201, Delhi had a bad start. Apart from opener Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane was out without opening an account. Shreyas Aiyar was dismissed for 12 and Rishabh Pant for 3. Stoinis (65) was the highest run scorer from Delhi. From Mumbai, Jaspreet Bumra took 4 wickets.
Mumbai Indians scored 200 for 5 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals in Dubai. For Mumbai, Ishaan Kish was unbeaten on 55 and Suryakumar Yadav on 51. All-rounder Hardik Pandya was unbeaten on 37 off 14 balls with five sixes. Ravichandran Ashwin was 3 for Delhi, while Marcus Stoinis and Enrich Nortje were quick 1-1.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Aiyar won the toss and elected to bowl against Mumbai Indians. Delhi have not made any changes in their playing-11. While Mumbai have made 3 changes in their team. Trent Bolt, Jaspreet Bumrah and Hardik Pandya are back in the team. He replaced James Pattinson, Dhawal Kulkarni and Saurabh Tiwary.
