Calcutta beat Rajasthan by 60 runs in the 54th match of IPL 2020. With this win, the possibility of Calcutta qualifying for the play-offs has remained alive. Calcutta scored 191 for 7 in 20 overs before batting, while Rajasthan scored 131 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs.

Calcutta, who had won the toss and elected to bat, did not have a good start. Nitish Rane was dismissed in the first over without opening an account. After which Shubhaman Gill and Rahul Tripathi shared a 72-run stand for the second wicket. Gill was dismissed for 36 off 24 balls. In the meantime he hit 6 fours. After losing five wickets for 99 runs, Eoin Morgan scored an unbeaten 68 off 35 balls with the help of five fours and six sixes.
