Chasing a target of 190, Hyderabad scored 172/8 in 20 overs, with Marcus Stones picking up three wickets, Kaugiso Rabada picking up four and Akshar Patel picking up 14. Delhi scored 189 for 3 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Abu Dhabi. For Delhi, Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 78, followed by Shimron Hatmeyer (42), Marcus Stoinis (38) and Shreyas Aiyar (21). For Hyderabad, Sandeep Sharma, Jason Holder and T. Natarajan was quick 1-1.

For Hyderabad, Ken Williams scored his 15th half century in the IPL. He scored 67 off 45 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes. Apart from that, Abdul Samad contributed 33 and Manish Pandey 21 runs.
