Omicron variant to delay Team India's tour of South Africa

New Delhi, December 2, 2021
Team India's tour of South Africa is likely to be postponed for a week due to Corona's new Omicron variant.
According to sources, the Cricket Board of India has asked the South African Cricket Board for time to consider the tour.
India, on the other hand, will leave for South Africa soon after the series against New Zealand, where India will play three Tests, three ODIs and four T20I matches. The first Test is scheduled to start on December 17.
The South African government has assured the Indian team of bio-bubble protection. The Indian team is currently on a tour of South Africa.
