Afghan players furious over defeat against India, fights between players of both the countries on the field

The Asian Cup qualifier football match between India and Afghanistan played in Kolkata yesterday saw some scary scenes.

In the third round of the qualifiers, the Indian team continued its winning streak with a 2-1 win over Afghanistan. Captain Sunil Chhetri and Sahad Abdu Samad scored for India.

However, after losing the match, the Afghan players got angry and started fighting with the Indian players on the field. A video of the fight has also gone viral.

When India's star goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh intervenes to settle the matter, the Afghan players also start pushing him. Officials then rush to the field to settle the matter.

The Indian team has won all three matches in the qualifiers and will now face Hong Kong. India have played a total of 11 matches against Afghanistan and India have won seven of them, while Afghanistan has won one match.
