In India, Guru is given a higher status than God. Jupiter is considered to be the guide and worshiper. Needless to say what is the role of Guru in any field in today's age but some recent events have put this relationship in an embarrassing position. A similar incident has taken place in a sports field in India. An Indian woman cyclist alleged that the coach had treated her inappropriately. SAI (Sports Authority of India) also took strict action in this regard. In the investigation, SAI found that the allegations made by the woman cyclist were true. Now a national-level female sailor has accused her team's coach of making her feel uncomfortable during a tour of Germany.

According to the information received, the complainant had approached YAI (Yachting Association of India) several times in this regard but she did not get any reply and last night she sought intervention from SAI.

According to sources close to the SAI, a complaint was received from a female sailor that the coach had made the woman feel uncomfortable during a trip to Germany. The woman sailor claimed that she had approached the institute on the issue but as no response was received she decided to appear before the SAI.

SAI has sought a report from YAI in this serious case, asking whether the sailor had approached him earlier. If contacted why the matter was not taken seriously. The camp was initiated and organized by YAI and was funded by SAI through ACTC. The coach accused by the player was appointed by YAI and was included in the team on the basis of his proposal.

The SAI has also contacted the athlete who claimed to have been subjected to mental pressure during the exercise by the coach. The sailor did not mention any sexual harassment by the coach.

This whole issue is shocking because these coaches have been Olympians 3 times and also coached the Indian Navy team.
