After half centuries of Gaekwad (2) and Kishan (2), Hershal Patel took four wickets and Chahal took three. With this, India opened the account of victory after two consecutive defeats and kept the five T20 series alive. Chasing a target of 150 to win, the touring South Africa were all out for 121 in 19.1 overs. Klaas scored the most 4 runs. Now the fourth T20 of the series will be played in Rajkot on Friday the 19th.
South Africa seemed to be able to easily cross the 150-run target to win. However, Hershel Patel and Chahal picked up South Africa's wickets at regular intervals to lead India to victory. Klaas scored 4 runs in 4 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Reza Hendrix scored 4 and Parnell scored 3 not out. Hershal Patel was quick for 4 for 4 and Chahal was quick for 3 for 20.
