KL Rahul got the captaincy for the T20 series against South Africa. Senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were rested. But he was ruled out of the series due to a groin injury and Rishabh Pant is leading the team. Currently, Team India is trailing 1-2 in the series. Rahul is currently undergoing rehab in NCA and big news is coming about his injury. His energy is not yet fully recovered. In that case, he could be out of the lone Test against England from 1 July. Apart from this, it is difficult for him to play in ODIs and T20 series.
