Indian boxing team head coach Bhaskar Bhatt left the Commonwealth Games Village to accommodate India's Olympic medalist Lovelyna Borghoen as personal coach. Lavalina took to social media to protest against her personal coach not being allowed into the Commonwealth Games Village. As a result, the head coach of the boxing team, Bhaskar Bhatt, walked in front and vacated his room in the Commonwealth Games Village. It included Lovely's Purslane coach and Sandhya Gurung, assistant coach in the Indian boxing team.
Bhaskar Bhatt secured Commonwealth Games accreditation and it was given to Lovelyna's personal coach Sandhya Gurung. Bhaskar Bhatt said that I have dropped off at a hotel located at a walking distance of only 10 minutes from the village. I have taken this decision going forward. So this is a ' home affair ' and it is better if we resolve such a situation ourselves.
However , the power of the star players of the Indian team is so much that they break the protocol and send their considered assistant coaches to the head coach's room. It can indeed be called an insult to the head coach. Despite this, Bhaskar Bhatt resolved this matter peacefully showing a big heart.
