In such a situation this responsibility has been assigned to Sindhu and Manpreet.
Manpreet has been selected as the second flag bearer. The Birmingham Commonwealth Association had already told all countries that they would have to choose 2 people as flag bearers. There should be one woman and one man. This was stated by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) in its statement.
