Akshar played an explosive innings of 64 runs and snatched the match from West Indies. Left-handed batsman Akshar Patel hit 3 fours and 5 sixes in a 35-ball innings.
The special thing is that Akshar Patel finished the match in a brilliant manner by hitting a six in the fourth ball of the last over of the match. With this victory, India has taken an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series. Team India has won the 12th consecutive series against West Indies.
Batting first, West Indies set a target of 312 runs to win against India. Team India achieved the target in 49.4 overs with the help of Akshar's unbeaten 64 after Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson's 50.
