Along with Federer, Nadal and Andy Murray, Serbian tennis star Djokovic will also be included in Team Europe at this year's Laver Cup Team Tennis Championship. Djokovic has shown his readiness to participate in the Laver Cup to be held in London from September 23 to 25 this year. Unique tennis matches between Team Europe and Team World are a major attraction among fans.
With Djokovic's arrival, the Laver Cup is set to feature a total of 66 Grand Slam title winners from Team Europe. Nadal has 22, Djokovic 21 and Federer 20 Grand Slam titles. While Murray has won three Grand Slam titles.
The fifth edition of the Laver Cup is scheduled to be held in London. The tournament, named after Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, pits the top six players from Europe against the top six players from the rest of the world. Team Europe is captained by Björn Borg. While McEnroe is taking charge as the captain of the rest of the world.
The names of only three players of Team World have been announced. Non-playing captain John McEnroe announced that his Team World includes Canada's Aliasim, America's Taylor Fitz and Argentina's David Swartzman. Other players will be announced later.
