- Ajay's father has filed a police complaint against wrestler Ravi accusing him of drugging his son.

Ajay Nandal, husband of Commonwealth Games medal-winning wrestler Pooja Nandal, has died of a suspected drug overdose. Two of his fellow wrestlers, Ravi and Sonu, are admitted in the ICU of a private hospital in a critical condition. Ajay's father has lodged a police complaint against wrestler Ravi, accusing him of drugging his son.
According to the police, the wrestlers consumed intoxicants in Ajay's Alto car near Maharani Kishori College, after which the three became unconscious. The people around saw them and admitted them to the hospital for treatment. Where Ajay died and Ravi and Sonu's condition is still critical.
Wife Pooja won bronze medal in wrestling
Deceased Ajay Nandal was a resident of village Garhi Bohar and was a national level wrestler. Was the husband of female wrestler Pooja Nandal Sihag. Pooja made the country proud by winning a bronze medal in women's wrestling in the 76 kg weight category at the Commonwealth Games in England. At home, the joy of winning a medal has not faded and the joy of her husband dying of a drug overdose has turned into motherhood.
Pooja and Ajay got married a year and a half ago. Both husband and wife have been very good wrestlers. Ajay was a national level wrestler while Pooja is an international wrestler. Deceased Ajay Nandal was working as a constable in CISF from sports quota.
Ajay consumed drugs with two friends in his car
The incident is being shown near Maharani Kishori College on Saturday around 7:00 pm. In Ajay Nandal's Alto car, the three wrestler friends took drugs which overdosed and rendered the trio unconscious.
On getting information about the incident, a team of police and FSL reached the spot and reviewed the spot and collected evidence. Currently, the police have sent Ajay's body to Rohtak PGI for postmortem.
