The Indian team had a lot of fun after defeating Zimbabwe 3-0 in the 3-match ODI series. Many young players of the team including Shikhar Dhawan were seen dancing to Punjabi songs. The Indian team danced to the song 'Kala Chashma'. In this series, Team India's opener batsman Shubman Gill was selected as the player of the series.

Talking about the match, after Shubman Gill's maiden international century of his career, India thrashed Zimbabwe by 13 runs in a close match by 13 runs on Monday to complete a 3-0 clean sweep in the 3-match series.

Chasing India's target of 290, Zimbabwe bowled out 276 in 49.3 overs against sharp bowling by Avesh Khan (3 for 66), Akshar Patel (2 for 30), Kuldeep Yadav (2 for 38) and Deepak Chahar (2 for 75). was over.

Sikandar Raza (115 off 95 balls, 9 fours, 6 sixes) and Brad Evans (28) put on 104 runs for the 8th wicket to raise hopes of a turnaround but the team lost the last 3 wickets for just 3 runs. Sean Williams (45 off 46 balls) also played a useful innings. This is India's 15th consecutive win against Zimbabwe in ODI cricket. Gill scored 130 runs in 97 balls with the help of 15 fours and one six. Apart from this, India scored 289 runs for 8 wickets with Ishan Kishan (50 runs from 61 balls, 6 fours) for the third wicket of 140 runs. Chasing the score target, Zimbabwe lost the wicket of Ashoka Kaiya (06) in the third over as Chahar took it leg before. The decision to take DRS went in favor of India.
