Kambli, living in the middle of financial crisis, was offered a job with a salary of one lakh by a businessman

Vinod Kambli, a well-known former Indian cricketer, recently said that my financial condition is not good and I am looking for a job.

Kambli's explanation caused a stir in the cricket world. Kambli had said till then that I have no other means of income except the monthly pension of 30000 rupees given to me by the cricket board.

After Kambli's statement, now a businessman from Maharashtra, Sandeep Thorat, has offered Kambli a job with a salary of one lakh.

According to a Marathi website report, Kambli's job is not related to cricket but to the financial department of an industries in Mumbai. However, Kambli has not yet reacted to it.

Earlier, Kambli said, I want a cricket assignment. So that I can help young cricketers. I have approached Mumbai Cricket Board for this several times and I am ready if they need me. I have a family too and I have to take care of them too. So I need work.
