You might have seen former Indian cricket team captain and wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni angry. Whether on the field or off the field, MS Dhoni was always seen as calm. He was also called Captain Cool for the same reason as he was seen as calm in all situations. However, he has now revealed why he doesn't get angry and why he doesn't get angry on the field.
MS Dhoni said that he always tries to control his emotions because he is also a human being. When captain Cool Dhoni asked the audience, how many of you think your boss is calm. A few hands went up in response to this question.
Dhoni said, "Honestly, we don't want to make any mistakes when we are on the field. Be it misfielding, drop of catch or any other error. I always try to find out why a player dropped a catch or why someone misfielded. Anger doesn't do the right thing.
I don't mind if a player is 100 percent accurate on the field and still misses the catch. However, I would also like to see how many catches he drops during practice. Somewhere they don't have trouble and they are trying to be the best or not. I used to pay attention to all these aspects instead of paying attention to the missed catch. We might lose a match because of him but always tried to get to know him.
Dhoni said I am also human. I feel the same inside as you all do. We represent our country, so we will feel wrong. But we always try and control our emotions. It's always easy to sit out and say we have to play a certain way but it's not easy. We are representing our country but opposition players are also representing their country. There are often ups and downs.
