Know what is Mankading, how it started

Deepti Sharma led the Indian women's team to a thrilling win in the third ODI. The English team was just 17 runs away from victory. Deepti, the off-spinner bowling the 44th over of the innings, ran out Charlie Dean with mankding. In this way, the Indian women's team captured the series 3-0. However, after Deeptina's run out, some people are considering this right and some are calling it wrong. It begs the question as to which player was the first to use Mankading and how did he get this special name. Here also the name of Indian legend Vinoo Mankad comes. It was named Mankding after him.

In Mankding, the batsman standing at the non-striker's end steps out of the crease before going to bowl the bowler's ball. In such a case, the bowler smashes the stumps at his own end without fielding the ball. For the first time this incident happened in 1947-48 during the India vs Australia series. Team India went to Australia. This is how Vinoo Mankad dismissed Bill Brown in the second Test. Before this, Mankad dismissed Brown in a similar manner during the Australia-11 match. After which the media of Australia gave it the name Mandking.

ICC changed the rule

ICC has recently changed its rules. This rule is going to be implemented from October 1. According to which, if a batsman standing on non-strike leaves the crease before the bowler bowls the ball, if the bowler runs him out, earlier it was called unfair play, but now it will be called run out. This is also known as Mankding.
