Smriti Mandhana ranked second among batsmen in the ICC Women's T20 rankings

Indian opener Smriti Mandhana got the second place in the T20 batting rankings after a brilliant performance in the three ODI series against England. Mandhana has been placed after Australia's Beth Mooney. Mooney has 743 rating points. While Mandhana is 12 points behind him.

Smriti Mandhana played a decisive innings of 91 runs in the first ODI against England to give India victory. With this, she moved up to 7th position in the list of ODI batsmen with an improvement of three places. Significantly , Mandhana reached the second position in the ranking for the first time in her T20 career.

Mandhana had secured the third position in August itself and after a remarkable performance in the T20I series against England, she overtook Meg Lanning. India's Shefali Verma is sixth in the T20 rankings. While Sophie Eccleston ranks first among T20 bowlers. While India's Deepti Sharma is in 7th place and Renuka Singh is in 10th place. Deepti is ranked third among all-rounders.

Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 74 in the first ODI against England. With this, she jumped four places to the ninth position in the ODI batsman rankings. While T20 batsmen are at 14th place with an improvement of one place. Yastika Bhatia also got the 37th position with an improvement of 8 places in the ODI rankings after a half-century.

Among ODI bowlers, Jhulan Goswami is fifth and Rajeshwar Gaikwad is seventh. While among all-rounders, Deepti is ranked sixth and Jhulan Goswami is ranked ninth.
