Indian women's cricket team has created history in England. The Indian team led by Harmanpreet Kaur defeated the hosts England by 88 runs in the second ODI match. Along with this, the Indian team has also won the ODI series in their name.
Thus, the Indian women's team has won the ODI series for India on British soil after a long period of 23 years. The final match of the series will be played at Lord's on September 24 and the Indian team is now eyeing a clean sweep.
Batting first in the match, India scored 333 runs for 5 wickets in the stipulated over. In reply, the English team was bundled out for only 245 runs against the Indian bowlers.
