Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe by three wickets on the last ball thanks to Mosaddak's winning performance after the last over hydra . Against a target of 151, Zimbabwe could reach 148 for 8 and their semi-final hopes were almost over . While Bangladesh kept the hope of progress alive .
After winning the toss, Bangladesh scored 150 runs for seven wickets with the help of Shanto's 71 and Afif's 29 . Garawa - Muzrabani got 2-2 wickets . In reply, Zimbabwe registered 147 runs for 8 wickets with the help of Williams' 64 runs .

Zimbabwe needed 16 runs in the last over to win . Burrell took one run of the leg bye . Mosaddak Hossain then got the wicket of Brad Evans . The third ball hit Garawa's shoulder and went out of bounds . After this, Garava hit a six .
