He said that now they are going to enter a new era of equality. Female cricketers will also get the same match fee as male cricketers.

It may be mentioned that the board currently pays the men's team 15 lakh rupees for a Test and 6 lakh rupees for an ODI, while 3 lakh rupees is paid for a T20 match.

The New Zealand Cricket Board was the first to start giving equal pay to men and women.
