T20 World Cup: Two-time world champions West Indies knocked out by Ireland

West Indies were once feared in world cricket. However, the situation has changed now. Two-time world champions West Indies have made a humiliating exit from the T20 World Cup currently being played in Australia.

The West Indies team did not even reach the Super 12 and got knocked out in the qualifying round itself. Today, Ireland secured their place in the Super 12 group by defeating West Indies.

The West Indies team, who came to bat first in the match, could score only 146 runs. After that, the Ireland team batted hard and scored 73 runs in the first seven overs. After the dismissal of captain Andrew Balbirnie, Paul Stirling continued to bat.
