Suryakumar became number one, beating Pakistan's top player

India's star player Suryakumar Yadav has retained his top spot in the ICC T20 rankings. Currently in the 3-match series against New Zealand where India won 1-0 against New Zealand, Suryakumar has maintained both his performance and his top spot in T20.

Suryakumar has also increased the batting rating points gap with second ranked batsman Mohammad Rizwan. Currently, Suryakumar has 890 points while Rizwan has 836 points.

New Zealand opener Devon Conway's innings of 59 runs in the series-tied final against India helped him reach the third position. While Glenn Phillips has moved up to seventh position among the batsmen. While in bowling, Tim Southee has risen two places and has reached the 14th position among the bowlers. In this way, this match has helped the New Zealand player to move up the ranking.

For India, captain Hardik Pandya's unbeaten 30 in the final helped them to a joint 50th position among batsmen.
