Suryakumar Yadav remains at the top of the ICC T20 batting rankings

Suryakumar Yadav retained the top position in the ICC T20 batting rankings. India was knocked out in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup after losing to England. Suryakumar was dismissed for 14 runs in the semi-final, which dropped him to 859 from a career-best rating of 869, but remained at the top.

The 32-year-old Suryakumar scored 239 runs at a strike rate of 189.68 and was the third highest run scorer in the T20 World Cup. Pakistan's Rizwan is second. Its rating points go up to 836. Babar and Conway's rankings improved to fourth and fifth respectively.

England's opener Hales, who had a brilliant performance in the tournament, jumped 22 places in the rankings and has reached the 12th position in the rankings. Rossouw of South Africa reached the seventh position. While Phillips is ranked eighth.

Legspinner Rashid, who has proved to be England's trump card, has reached the third position in the T20 bowlers ranking. Rashid took one wicket for 20 runs against India in the semi-final and two wickets for 22 runs against Pakistan in the final.

Hasaranga retained the top position and Afghan spinner Rashid retained the second position. Adil Rashid is followed by Hazlewood and England's Sam Curran has reached the fifth position. Shamsi is at the sixth position, Zampa is at the seventh position and Afghanistan's Mujeeb is at the eighth position.
