India tops archery's Asia Cup with 10 medals including five golds

India won a total of 10 medals along with five gold medals in the Asia Cup Stage Three of the ongoing Archery Asia Cup in Sharjah, UAE. With this, India was given the top position in the medal table. India had a total of seven medals in compound archery. While the team also got overall three silver and two bronze medals.

In the women's individual event in compound archery, India made a clean sweep by winning all three medals. The trio of Pragati, Aditi Swamy and Parneet Kaur bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. While the Indian men's team also won the gold medal by defeating South Korea 6-4 in the final. In the men's individual event of compound archery, Priyansh and Ojas bagged the gold and silver medals respectively.

In the recurve section, India's trio of Akash, Mrinal Chauhan and Parth Saleke achieved golden success with a brilliant performance. While the pair of Trisha Punia and Parth Saleke won the silver medal in the mixed team event.
