All-rounder Ben Stokes was bid high for the future captain option, while New Zealand all-rounder Kyle James was included in the squad for just Rs 1 crore to bolster the fast bowling attack.

Dhoni's decision is heavy on Kohli's decision

In the auction held in the year 2021, RCB bought New Zealand all-rounder Kyle Jameson for 15 crores. He decided not to play in the IPL last season due to personal reasons.
