Team India will be announced today for the series against Sri Lanka, know who will get a place

The Indian team is to be selected today for the limited overs series between India and Sri Lanka in the coming New Year starting from January 03. Currently BCCI has not chosen a new selection committee so only the old committee can select the team for this series. Different captains can be selected for T20 and ODI series. India played the last T20 series on the tour of New Zealand with Hardik Pandya as the captain. Most of the young players got a place in this team. A similar team may be selected against Sri Lanka. Rishabh Pant and Bhuvneshwar Kumar may be rested in this series. While Rahul Tripathi may be included in the team.

Rohit Sharma will join the team
In the ODI series, Team India's regular captain Rohit Sharma will join the team and lead the team. Most of the ODI series players on the tour of Bangladesh can also get a chance in this series. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Sen were in the Bangladesh tour squad, but they may be dropped from the series against Sri Lanka.

Bumrah and Jadeja will return for the ODI series
Ravindra Jadeja has returned to NCA and started practice. His injury was assessed before the IPL auction and he has recovered quickly. Jadeja can return to the ODI series if he is fully fit.
