India's star cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has been declared the best T20 cricketer of 2022 by the ICC. While Australia's Tahila McGrath has received the award of the best female cricketer of 2022. In 2022, Suryakumar scored 1164 runs in 31 T20 matches at an average of 46.56 with a strike rate of 187.43.
He hit a total of 68 sixes this year
While he is only the second batsman to score more than a thousand runs in T20Is in a year. He hit a total of 68 sixes this year. Suryakumar has also become the batsman to hit the most sixes in a year. Last year he scored two centuries and 9 fifties.

Suryakumar also scored his first T20 century against England last year
Suryakumar also scored his first T20 century against England last year. England gave a target of 216 runs in response to which the Indian team lost 3 wickets for 31 runs. After that Suryakumar played a memorable innings. He scored 117 runs in 55 balls. He brought India to the brink of victory and we lost as soon as he got out.
