ICC Announces ODI Team of the Year:
The International Cricket Council i.e. ICC has selected the ODI team for the year 2022 and the name of India's star cricketers Kohli, Pandya or Rohit is not included in this list.

Sharma, Kohli out of team, captaincy in hands of Pakistani cricketer Azam:
ICC has selected the ODI team of the year for the year 2022 and the ICC team of 11 does not include India's star cricketers- captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the International Cricket Council has handed over the captaincy of this team to Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam. Only two Indian cricketers have got a place in this ICC team, these players are middle order bowler Shreyas Iyer and fast bowler Mohammad Siraz. New Zealander Tom Latham, who is captaining the Indian series, has been picked as the wicket keeper in this team.

It's been a great year for Shreyas Iyer at 22:
The year 2022 was very important for Shreyas Iyer. He scored the most runs in ODI matches for the Indian team. A total of 724 runs were scored in 17 matches, but the beginning of 2023 has not been special for him. Shreyas has performed very poorly by scoring 28, 28 and 38 runs in 3 matches in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, while in 22 he scored 50 runs in 2 Test matches. Shreyas is out of the ongoing ODI series against New Zealand due to a back ailment.

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraz took 24 wickets in 15 matches. He took so many wickets at an economy rate of 4.62 and an average of 23.50. 3/29 is considered his best bowling.
